Suzanne, who also goes by the nickname “Susu,” has been a lawyer, investment banker, and private equity consultant in New York for over 25 years. She graduated from Duke University (Economics and French) and Tulane Law School (magna cum laude).

After law school, Susu moved to New York and worked in major law firms, including LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae where she primarily worked for large energy and insurance companies on public securities transactions, including IPO and public debt market transactions. At O’Sullivan, Grave & Karabell Susu worked on large private equity buyouts for major private equity funds.

Susu also worked for major investment banks Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Credit Suisse. At DLJ and Credit Suisse, Suzanne worked for DLJ Merchant Banking on various matters across the fund platform, which included buyout funds, as well as mezzanine, venture, real estate, fund of fund, and secondary strategies. At Credit Suisse, Susu worked for the Credit Suisse Private Fund Group, the largest private equity fundraising group on Wall Street, where she worked with clients across a spectrum of strategies.

Susu formed her own boutique law practice in 2010, where she has continued to provide sophisticated legal services to a wide range of clients.

Susu holds FINRA Registered Representative licenses for Series 79, Series 22, and Series 63.

Outside of work, Susu is the proud mother of two children who are proper forces of nature. She is originally from New Orleans, and she travels there often.
